A dataset providing a list of Section 80 (noise abatement) notices issued by Leeds City Council.

An abatement notice can be served by the local authority if they are satisfied that a noise problem amounts to a statutory nuisance. The notice may require that the noise be stopped altogether or limited to certain times of day. The notice can be served on the person responsible for the noise, who then has 21 days to appeal.

Noise abatement notices issued by the Anti-social behaviour team are recorded within the case management process. This document is updated annually due to case record management processes and to enhance accuracy of reporting. A noise abatement notice may be issued to every named adult living in a residential dwelling.
