Open Flood Risk by Postcode combines the Environment Agency's Risk of Flooding from Rivers and Sea with English postcodes from Open Postcode Geo. Each postcode is supplemented with the information from the flood risk area in which it is located. Postcodes are treated as a single point in space, allowing for the postcode to be looked up and the flood risk determined for that point. The dataset is derived from the FSA Food Hygiene Ratings, from which the pubs/bars/nightclubs are extracted, cleaned up and then combined with the ONS Postcode Directory in order to map pubs to local authority
