Energy Performance Certificate Hex maps

EPC certificates represent a fantastic resource, helping to better understand the energy efficiency of buildings and how they can be improved. EPCs contain data on indicators which detail the current and potential performance that each building can achieve. The difference between these two values can be considered as the buildings capacity for improvement.

Here at ODI Leeds we’ve used hex maps to represent this data at ward level so that we can visualise areas within Leeds that would benefit the most from improvements.
