Data drop in

For the first time, ODI Leeds will be hosting the lunchtime lecture AND the Data Drop-In at their  fab partner space, Digital Exchange in Bradford! With a representative from ODI Leeds there to answer your questions

Heard of ‘open data’ but not sure what it is or how it could benefit you? Have you got an idea that could use data but not sure where to start? Maybe you already know a bit about open data but you’re not sure what data exists.

If you’re curious about any of the projects, ODI Leeds more than happy to have a chat about how they used open data and what happened next:
– flood sensors and flood network
– urban commons
– Highways Hack
– saving energy in council buildings/schools
– plus many more

ODI Leeds starting a regular, monthly, friendly, drop-in session for open data in collaboration with Data Mill North. With experts from the Data Mill, ODI Leeds, and the Leeds/Bradford open data community. There’ll also be tea, coffee, and cake. So, whatever your level of experience, come along and join in! :)
