A dataset of safe places in Leeds.

What is a safe place?

A Safe Place is somewhere a person with a learning disability can go and ask for help if they are lost, frightened or in difficulty, however a safe place may also be used by other vulnerable groups such as those with dementia, children, etc.

A user looks for the Safe Place logo being displayed in a nearby window and show their membership card there. The staff at the Safe Place then telephone the number on the card and speak to someone who can assist.
