The five West Yorkshire authorities of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield along with City of York Council are working together to deliver a Gigabit Voucher Scheme (GVS) for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DDCMS).  The GVS will provide a subsidy of up to £3,000 to internet suppliers registered with the scheme to install gigabit capable connections to eligible business premises across West Yorkshire and York.

This dataset is comprised of information relating to business parks and multi-occupied business premises across West Yorkshire and York.  The six local authorities have compiled this information from a variety of sources.

Additional information

  • It is recognised that there are inconsistencies in the way that the information has been compiled across the different areas.
  • As further information becomes available it is intended that this dataset be updated.
  • It is hoped that the dataset may provide a useful reference point when suppliers are considering potential locations to market the new GVS scheme.
