There are 7 cameras located at various locations around the city centre monitoring numbers of people walking past. These cameras calculate numbers on an hourly basis. This data can help identify footfall trends in the city centre and helps city centre management.

Please note

  • The format of the data has changed as at 31/01/2014 to ensure one CSV document incorporates all camera sites. This will be the new format going forward.
  • Datasets will be published on a monthly basis in line with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) calendar (refer to PDF guidance document).
