A dataset providing the background, list of solutions and outcome for the waste management lab.

The lab was held on Monday 19th January 2015 and commissioned by Waste Management, Leeds City Council.

Development question

The goal was to develop a proof of concept after analysis of the recycling data. This could be an online education and engagement platform to encourage high levels of good quality recycling, a graphic visualisation or data mash-up.

Outcomes

Leeds Bins by Thomas Forth has been devleoped into a proof of concept and successfully deployed. The council is considering how to scale and adopt the service internally.
